Gerald Gray II

Gerald was born and raised in Kansas City by his mother who was a career employee with the U.S. Postal Service.  Gerald is the youngest of three children and he has two older sisters.   He grew up in South Kansas City and the Grandview area.  Gerald attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa before transferring to UMKC to complete his undergraduate degrees of study. Prior to law school, Gerald held numerous positions from law enforcement, telecommunications, construction and sales.  Gerald is driven by what he refers to as the three F’s (faith, family and fairness). He vehemently believes in advocacy and works tirelessly on behalf of his clients to achieve a favorable outcome.

During law school, Gerald worked as a law clerk for the K.C.P.D. Office of General Counsel and the U.S. Department of Labor-Employee Benefits Security Administration.  He was also a summer associate at Lockton Companies and worked as an intern for a Jackson County Judge and Legal Aid of Western Missouri.  Gerald graduated with honors from UMKC School of Law in May 2014 and worked at a small firm where he successfully represented clients in range of complex legal matters.

In October of 2015, Gerald opened G. Gray Law, LLC where he represented individuals who have been injured or victimized by others.  His practice focuses on torts such as but not limited to civil rights violations, clients who have been injured in automobile accidents and other forms of negligence or have experienced discrimination, retaliation and harassment in the workplace.

Gerald also devotes time in his practice to represent clients in need of simple Probate and estate planning services.  Since opening his doors, Gerald has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of clients in injury and employment related matters with that number growing daily.

Gerald has also assisted in the administration of property in dozens of Probate matters and assisted countless families in preparing estate planning documents.  Gerald has also received recognition by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in Missouri and Kansas as we as being named as Up and Coming by Missouri Lawyers Weekly.  These are amazing honors and achievement only given to 2.5% of lawyers and selections are made by other lawyers.

When Gerald is not working as an advocate for his clients, he is busy spending time with his high school sweetheart and their three wonderful children.  Gerald is active in his church and has been elevated to the role of deacon.  He also coaches his children in little league basketball.
